Trivia Day!

One popular toy in America today actually got its start as a weapon in the 16th century.
Was it the jump rope?
The hula hoop?
Or the yo-yo?

Answer:
The yo-yo! This small modern toy was designed from a weapon used by Philippine warriors during the 1500s. First, the warriors would attach a 20-foot rope to a four-pound stone sphere, then "fire" their yo-yos by slinging them at an enemy nearby.
